What the app reads

With the read_locales and read_translations permissions, the app reads your store's published languages and the text of the content it checks (products, collections, pages, menus, image alt text, policies and similar) with its translations. It reads no customers, orders or payment details.

What the app stores

• Your store's myshopify.com address and the access token Shopify gives the app, encrypted.
• The results of each check: counts per language and, for each item with a problem, its Shopify ID, a short title (at most 80 characters), and the names of the fields at fault. Full product text and translations are not stored.
• The glossary terms you enter.
• Error reports, without your store's content, to fix bugs.

The app stores no personal information about your customers.

Where it is stored

The app runs on Fly.io in Frankfurt, Germany, with its database at Neon. Error reports go to Sentry. These providers process the data only to run the app.

How long it is kept

When you uninstall the app, Shopify asks it 48 hours later to delete your store's data, and it deletes your access token, check results and glossary then.

Your rights

You can ask what the app holds about your store, or for it to be deleted, at any time.
